What to be aware of for the 1st January 2017


Certain changes will come into effect as of the 1st January 2017 in regards to horse documents and uploads to the FEI Database.

 

STILL THE SAME:

1) It will still be necessary to upload scans/photos of certain pages of a horse' identification document when FEI ID Registration numbers are upgraded to FEI Passports or FEI Recognition Cards.

2) It will still be necessary to upload scans/photos of certain pages of a horse' identification document when changes are made to existing documents.

WHAT IS NEW:

1) All horses that are created on the FEI Database for the first time will require scans/photos to be uploaded of certain pages of their approved national document.

2) This means that national passports/identification documents need to be approved by the FEI. Click here for more details: "Which national passports are approved by the FEI."
